About Boomeraang
We’re on a mission to make sure every kid’s favourite things always find their way home.
Our Story
Boomeraang began as a kids’ entrepreneurship project. Two brothers, Advith and Abhay, set out to build something fun: Pokémon-style collectable cards that turn a kid’s real photo into their very own superhero gaming card.
They loved the idea so much they wanted to carry it everywhere, so they turned the cards into keychains and clipped them to their favourite things. But that sparked a worry — what if the card itself got lost?
When they shared the idea with their parents, the problem clicked instantly. It was the same sinking feeling the whole family knew too well — the water bottle, the toy, the cap, the jacket, the gloves that vanish at school, the sports centre, or the playground.
Their parents had a suggestion: add a QR code to the things that matter. If a kind stranger finds a lost item, a quick scan lets the family know where it is — so it can find its way home. For a kid, getting a treasured item back means everything; for parents, it means less heartache and one less replacement to buy — and some attachments a new toy just can’t replace.
Then Advith and Abhay spotted one more problem: the overflowing lost-and-found bin at school. What if schools, churches, community centres, and sports clubs could keep a simple digital lost-and-found? Parents could browse and claim items in one place, instead of hunting across town. That idea grew into Boomeraang.
What We Believe
Our Team
Boomeraang is built by Advith and Abhay’s parents, turning their kids’ idea into something real. What started as two brothers’ school project became a family mission: to help kids, parents, and schools around the globe keep track of the things they love — and bring them home when they go missing.
