❓ How do I get started with Boomeraang?

Sign up for a free account, order your QR tags from our shop, and attach them to your kids’ belongings. When someone finds a tagged item, they scan the QR code and you get notified instantly.

❓ Do finders need to download an app?

No! Finders just scan the QR code with their phone’s camera. It opens a web page where they can report the found item. No app download required.

❓ What information do finders see when they scan a tag?

Only what you choose to share. By default, finders see a generic message that the item has been registered and can leave a message for the owner. You control your privacy settings from your profile.

❓ Can my child’s school use Boomeraang?

Absolutely! Schools, churches, clubs, and other organizations can register for an organization account. Staff can scan found items and the platform automatically notifies the right parent.

❓ What happens if I lose the QR tag itself?

You can deactivate any tag from your dashboard and generate a new one. The old tag will no longer link to your information.

❓ How much does Boomeraang cost?

Creating an account is free. QR tags are available in our shop starting at just a few dollars per pack. There are no monthly fees for families.

❓ Can I add multiple family members?

Yes! You can add your spouse, kids, and other family members. Assign tags to specific people so you always know whose item was found.
