When a parent says thank-you with a $1–$5 reward, Boomeraang takes no platform fee. The finder’s wallet credits the amount net of Stripe’s standard processing fee (~2.9% + 30¢). Funds cash out to a bank via Stripe Connect.

Is the Free tier really free?

Yes. Both the Member Free and Organization Free tiers are free forever — no card required. The reward wallet, cash-out, and browsing a linked organization’s lost & found are all available on Free. You only pay if you need more QR tags.

What’s the difference between Member Free and Pro?

Free covers a single QR tag and everything needed to participate in the Boomeraang network —including browsing and claiming items from any linked organization’s lost & found. Pro at $1.99/month adds 3 new QR tag slots every month, for families with more to tag.

Do my QR tags expire if I cancel Pro?

Never. QR tags are permanent — they keep working regardless of your plan. Pro only controls how many new tags you can generate each month, not whether existing ones work.

What does the Organization Pro plan add?

Free organizations are admin-only with 10 inventory scans per month — enough to pilot solo. Pro at $4.99/month adds unlimited scans and up to 10 team members for managing found items.

Can one account be both a member and part of an organization?

Yes. Your account has a personal space and can also be invited to organizations. Being invited is free — the organization covers its own plan —and you can switch between your personal and organization views anytime at no extra cost. Your personal plan only affects your personal QR tags; the organization’s plan covers its team features.

Does Boomeraang take a cut of rewards?

No. We don’t take a platform fee on parent-to-finder rewards. Stripe’s standard processing fee applies and is shown transparently before sending.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Toggle auto-renew off from your subscription page — you keep access until the end of the billing period.
