QR Tag Data

When you register a QR tag, we store the tag identifier and the item description you provide. You control what information is visible to finders through your privacy settings.

Scan Data

When someone scans a QR tag, we collect the approximate location and time of the scan to help you locate your item. We do not collect personal information about the finder unless they voluntarily provide it.

• With your organization: If you’re a member of an organization account, administrators can see tagged items associated with your children

4. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Boomeraang is designed for use by parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Children’s information is managed entirely by their parent or guardian through the family dashboard.

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with encryption at rest.
